Community Knowledge Center and other Programs
Our center houses a Computer Knowledge Center for the public to visit and learn computer literacy skills. Classes are held regularly for the public.
Transformed Lives, Inc. also has transitional housing for men coming out of incarceration. It is a year long structured program to support the men as they reconnect with their community and families.
Our Volunteers are servant leaders from the community who have found a place to give back to support their neighbors. Please contact our center if you would like to help us with our community work.
Healthy Homework Lab
Our Healthy Homework Lab operates by the school year calendar. We provide educational enrichment for at risk students in grades K-5. Our students receive a healthy snack afterschool on Tuesdays along with educational support for homework needs.
Our students have access to our 10 station computer lab to complete homework projects, educational games and research.
Transportation is provided for students living within 3-5 mile radius of center.
Community Food Pantry
Our Community Food Pantry has taken on a life of its own over the years and has grown to be a staple within the East Winston Area. We are committed to our mission to provide hunger relief for underserved individuals and families.
We are open on Fridays (1-3 pm) and Sundays (3-5 pm) serving approximately 100- 200 families weekly.
Our partnership with 2nd Harvest Food Bank, Food Lion Feeds and Lowes Food stores enable us to provide a variety of meats, produce, deli, bread and dessert items on a weekly basis.
Everyone is served and no one is turned away. Please stop by if you have a need or refer someone in need to our pantry.
